The Practice Administrator will be tasked with developing, supervising, and leading non-clinical staff. The Practice Administrator will also coordinate with the administrative team, including Human Resources, Revenue Cycle Management, accounting and bookkeeping, and clinical services. The Practice administrator will be responsible for developing services for revenue enhancement, supervising marketing of the practice, and managing the financial and budgeting aspects of the practice. This includes coordination of information systems for the practice, managed care plan management, and preparing financial and administrative reports. The Practice Administrator is the liaison with the CPA accounting firm and other vendors and consultants in coordination with the Clinic Nurse Manager, Medical Director, Assistant Medical Director and individual clinic owners. Duties shall also include the monitoring of credentialing, patient complaints, customer satisfaction surveys, coding, billing, and collections.
The Practice Administrator will work closely and with other members of the Administration team and serve as a liaison between the practice’s clinicians and the company board of directors to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Clinical Nurse Manager, Accounting Manager, HR-Payroll Manager, Revenue Cycle Manager, the Medical Director, the Managing Partner, and the Board of Managers in relation to the patient volume, quality of services, and financial aspects of the practice.
- Ensure a high degree of quality of the clinical operations and services offered.
- Supervise marketing and advertising efforts. Build patient volume at the clinics.
- Coordinate with IT team to develop and implement information systems for practice
- Negotiate vendor contracts
- Strategic Planning
- Oversight of accounting firm in the preparation and presentation of practice financials
- Oversight of outsourced billing and collection’s company
- Develop, secure approval for, and implement budgets
- Negotiate managed care insurance contracts
- Develop and implement new services for revenue enhancement
- Ensure the facilities are kept clean and maintained properly
- Other duties as needed to operate efficiently.
- Monitor and negotiate clinic leases
