The Christmas Capital of Texas
Lucky for all Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) residents, we live really close to the Christmas Capital of Texas, otherwise known as Grapevine! During the Christmas season, Grapevine is home to over 1,400 Christmas activities, decorations, events and even more!
At the center of it all is the Gaylord Texan, which goes all out during this time of the year. With a 52-foot Christmas tree, over 1.5 million holiday lights, a life-size real gingerbread house, snow tubing slides and over 2 million pounds of ice exhibits, you won’t even know where to look!

Interlochen Christmas Light Tour
If you’ve never been to the Arlington neighborhood of Interlochen during Christmas time, then you absolutely need to check this amazing Christmas light extravaganza out. Every year from Dec. 13-25, this neighborhood of over 200 homes deck out their neighborhood with Christmas lights, blow-ups, decorations and many more!
Whether you’re taking someone on a date or taking the whole family to see Christmas lights, it won’t disappoint!
Ice Skating In DFW
While we shouldn’t expect a white Christmas this year, don’t miss out on this classic wintertime activity because of it!
