Video Visit CityDoc Urgent Care is now offering Video Visit, a convenient way for patients to consult with CityDoc providers for minor care from the comfort of their own home. Video Visit is a form of telemedicine, which allows health care professionals to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients at a distance using telecommunications technology. What can Video Visit be used for?

  When should Video Visit not be used? Not all symptoms are appropriate for a telemedicine visit. Telemedicine is not for emergency situations and CityDoc encourages patients to dial 911 for anything they deem as life- or limb-threatening. How does Video Visit work? After establishing an account on the CityDoc patient portal, patients can request a Video Visit appointment. After the appointment is confirmed, a patient is placed in a virtual lobby for a Video Visit with the provider at the scheduled time. What devices can I use to connect to a Video Visit? Connect with a CityDoc provider via Video Visit from your computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Can I use my insurance for Video Visit?  Most major insurance is accepted. If a patient is without insurance, an affordable self-pay fee schedule is available. Any fee paid towards a Video Visit is credited towards an in-person visit in the event that patient’s condition requires a visit to one of the CityDoc clinics. What hours is Video Visit available? Video Visit appointments are available Monday-Saturday from 9:00am – 7:00pm and on Sunday 11:00am – 4:00pm. How do I request an appointment?
