Advancing Healthcare Through Clinical Trials

At CityDoc Urgent Care we truly separate ourselves from other urgent care centers. Not only are we pleased to provide excellent care, we are also constantly evolving and striving to provide the newest treatments, technologies, and medications to our patients while being on the cutting edge of the future of medicine.

Through a strategic partnership with Urgent Care Clinical Trials, CityDoc is proud to say that we now provide the newest medications and treatments available through our clinical research program. Our physicians and patients are directly contributing to the advancement of medicine, affecting not only participating patients today, but everyone tomorrow.

What are Clinical Trials?

Clinical trials are research studies in which volunteering patients may participate. Typically, patients are compensated for their time and travel while participating in clinical research. CityDoc Urgent Care uses clinical trials to help find better ways to prevent, diagnose, and treat illnesses and injuries. Doctors use treatment trials to learn more about how to effectively treat patients.

Clinical trials can provide the newest types of medicines or treatments that the FDA has yet to approve for the open market. In these trials, physicians may look at new ways to give specific treatments. Patients that participate in clinical trials get to play an active role in their personal healthcare. These patients will have access to treatments that they otherwise wouldn’t have access to before they become widely available to the public. But most importantly, participating patients’ help others by contributing to medical research and the medical community by helping to find cures to diseases, better treatments, and creating an overall improved quality of life for possibly millions of people.

Why choose to participate in a clinical trial?

Patients choose to participate in a clinical trial for a variety of reasons:

  • To receive study related medical care at no cost
  • To receive compensation for time and travel during a clinical trial
  • Access to the newest treatments and medications, which they otherwise would not have access to
  • Receive closer medical oversight throughout the study
  • Gain a deeper knowledge of their conditions and newest treatments
  • Be directly aiding in the advancement of medicine, helping millions of people in the future

We are currently enrolling patients today for various studies. Please contact us to learn more about clinical research and if a clinical trial is right for you.
