Seeking dedicated and skilled medical support for Front Office positions at our Urgent Care Centers located throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth areas. This role is crucial in providing the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and compassionate experience from the moment they walk through our doors. As a Medical Assistant in the Front Office, you will play a key role in patient registration, insurance verification, and the overall patient experience, embodying our commitment to outstanding care.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to patients, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members.
- Patient Registration: Efficiently register patients for their visits, capturing all necessary information accurately.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance details and understand coverage to facilitate the billing process.
- Collection of Copays/Deductibles: Handle the collection of copays and deductibles in a respectful and efficient manner.
- Multi-line Phone Answering: Manage incoming calls, providing information, taking messages, and directing calls as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an urgent care or medical office setting.
- Availability: Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Skills:
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient in patient registration and insurance verification processes.
- Capable of handling financial transactions related to copays and deductibles.
- Competent in managing multi-line phone systems.
- A commitment to following all healthcare policies and procedures.
- Trainability: Must possess the aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
